Q: What inspired you to start your business?
Bill: Initially, I had just heard a lot of friends and family members complaining about companies not showing up to do estimates or to do jobs, people paid contractors to do a job and the work wasn't done or done poorly. That bothered me and my drive was to have a business that showed up for estimates and for jobs and did great work for a great price. Today, my drive is still what I listed but it also includes growth - teaching the younger workers that same mentality and how to keep that thought process working for BlueLine.

Q: What do you offer?
Bill: We offer window cleaning, gutter cleaning, pressure washing, landscaping and commercial snow plowing.

Q: What is your favorite thing about your business?
Bill: My people. We have a great group of people working together in the office and in the field that are not just good workers but they are great people personally. Good morals and good hearts. We hire people based on their moral compass and work ethic; it's easier to teach a good-hearted person to clean windows rather than teach of bad-hearted person to be a good moral person.

Q: What keeps you motivated every day?
Bill: My motivation is providing good people with a job where they can earn a good wage to be able to live; buy a house, a new car, support their family, etc.

Q: Why did you want photos?
Bill: Professional companies look professional and good photos help with that.

Q: What advice do you have for other entrepreneurs?
Bill: Stay driven. The hard days make the good days taste that much better. Do the right thing every time, even when no one is looking.
