FAQ

Q. Can I buy only the digitals?

A. All images you purchase come with the matching digital file. I do not offer only digitals, as your beautiful portraits deserve to be printed and admired by you, not buried in a drawer on a disc or in a folder on your computer.

Q. Are images included with the session?

A. You will receive a wooden box with 4x6” proof prints of the images edited from your session. Images must be purchased in order to receive the matching digital file.

Q. What do I wear?

A. You will receive a session preparation guide after you book your session that will help you with selecting your wardrobe, as well as how to prepare for your session. If you would like more in depth assistance after you have booked, I am more than happy to answer your questions and even help you pick out your wardrobe.

Q. What if the weather is bad the day of my session?

A. We will do our best to keep your session as planned, but if the weather is too bad the day of your session, we will reschedule it. I leave dates open every week just in case rescheduling is necessary.

Q. Where will my session take place?

A. Your session will take place at a location that is meaningful to you. That could be at a park or another location that you love to visit, your home, or some place else. If this is an equestrian session, it is recommended to have the session at the location your horse lives or another place they are used to visiting so they are comfortable.

Q. What if my horse is naughty during the session?

A. Everyone has a bad day, and horses are no exception. If necessary, we can take a quick break to walk your horse around or lunge him and get some of the excess energy out. Sometimes moving to a new location can help as well. If your horse is still being naughty, we may still be able to get amazing pictures. Listen to what Jess had to say about her session:

β€œI'm SO IN LOVE with this sneak peak of Mr. Royal Obsidian and I from our shoot with Erin Beckett / Erin Beckett Photographer! WE LOOK SO MAJESTIC (aka she's an amazing photographer)!

You would have no clue that he was literally dragging me around the pasture while I was trying to take tiny steps to not rip the dress as my tiny shoe came flying off and he tried to trample the cape πŸ˜‚ She's that good.

Can't wait to see the rest of them! <3”

That being said, if I feel it’s unsafe to continue the session or you feel uncomfortable continuing the session, we will cut it short. The safety of all involved is paramount.

Q. Will you use my images on your website/blog/social media/marketing materials?

A. That is completely up to you. I love sharing images of my clients, but sometimes you might not want them shared and I will respect that decision. You will have the option to sign a model release if you are okay with me sharing your images.

Q. Do you give back to the community?

A. I volunteer at Elmbrook Humane Society by taking photos of animals looking for their forever homes, as well at some of their fundraisers. I also recently started volunteering there as a cat socializer with my daughter.
